This year was the 7th TRA conference; it was held on 16-19th April 2018 in Vienna.

Four presentations dedicated to the ESRA results were presented. Uta Meesmann and Wouter Van den Berghe (Vias institute, Belgium) were the first two speakers; they presented the general approach of the project, most recent developments, and highlights of recent results from Latin American countries. Afterward, Yvonne Achermann Stürmer (bfu, Switzerland) gave an overview on driving under the influence. Finally, Gerald Furian (KFV, Austria) made the link between ESRA data and the road crash statistics from the CARE database.

ESRA core group partners also used the occasion to come together for a project meeting on the 19th of April. The meeting was dedicated to the next edition of the ESRA survey which will be launched in October 2018.
